07/12/2023 fifth COP Conference simulation in Italy

We returned to the Itis Pininfarina in Moncalieri for another climate Cop simulation. After working with a small icebreaker on overconsumption of resources, we started to reflect on the functioning of the institutions dealing with climate change and related issues and then tried to experiment in a small way with the related governance process. After an introduction on the topic by the expert staff present, the young people divided into groups for each country or group of countries prepared an introductory speech on their territorial situation, their planned climate commitments and proposals to the other territories. Following this, just as in a real United Nations Conference of the Parties on climate, the delegates from each territory tried to agree on the various proposals and positions that had emerged. Once again, the students were very proactive and involved!
